User access

This section of INRstar allow the supervisor of the system to add users and allocate them specific permissions. By ensuring users log in under their own name and password is is possible to determine the historical actions of users by clicking on the audit trail button.

You are free to allocate permissions as you see fit and to some extent this will depend on the qualifications, training and experience of the members of staff. However as a general rule we recommend the following:

Non clinicians can view patient details only (provided they have been given a user name and password).

We suggest that the Supervisor setup an account for each user using their name for the user name and their forename for the password. Each user should then login and change their password to one that is known only to them.
