Home >> INRstar >> Guided tour >> The main screen >> Graphs & reports Graphs & reportsAs can be seen from the screen shot below there are four graphs available and nine reports. You have the option to restrict the report period between two selectable dates and to optionally include inactive patients in the report. We have chosen not to provide screen shots of all of the graphs and reports but descriptions of each are contained below or in the case where we show the actual report on a different page - just click on the button you are interested in on the graphic below. All of the reports can be exported to other applications, e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel, or emailed (requires a MAPI compliant email client). In addition to the reports shown it is possible to replace one or more of these with custom reports. We offer a custom report service free of charge to organisations who purchase multiple copies of INRstar. Even in the case where a single user needs a report we may not charge to produce this where we deem it to be useful to other users. In this way we are building up a library of reports so if you require something special please ask, it might already exist!
Analysis/1 & /2The Analysis/1 and /2 charts show the relationship between INR results (arranged in groups of 0.5 units of INR) and the total amount of time that patients had INR results within each range. This method (devised by Rosendaal et al.) gives an overview of the intensity of anticoagulation achieved and is becoming the standard method of monitoring the results of oral anticoagulation. Two charts are available Analysis/1 for patients with a low target of less than 3 INR and Analysis/2 for patients with a high target of 3 or more INR. ReviewThis chart shows the average review period for all treatments on a monthly basis. It is possible to view the data that are contained in each bar by moving the mouse pointer over the bar of interest and double left clicking. One or more pages of data are then displayed. OverdueThis report lists all patients who are overdue an INR test. Patients are grouped under the number of days overdue and full details are listed along with the days of their appointment. It can be used in combination with the overdue report to remind patients of their missed appointments. ActivityThis report lists those patients treated in each week in alphabetical order, totals the number of treatments for each week and for the total number of weeks. This is a useful report for claiming payment from a purchasing authority. Point PrevalenceThis report shows the percentage of patients whose last INR result falls within, above or below their target INR range. If the Selected dates option is used, then the report will show the last INR result within the selected date range. AppointmentsThis report lists those days on which patients have appointments for an INR test and lists the names of the patients under the day of the appointment. Overdue letterThis report allows a standard letter to be produced informing the patient that they have missed a blood test and asking them to make a new appointment as soon as possible. Provided a doctor has been associated with the patient, the doctor’s name is included as the signatory. Adverse eventsThis report shows the number of adverse events occurring during the selected period of time. You can double left click on each segment to see more detailed information of each type of event. Data that is used to make this report can be viewed by placing the mouse over the slice of the pie that is of interest and double left clicking. Age/sexThis chart shows the number of patients in different age ranges together with the gender distribution of each age range. The data can be further analysed by positioning the mouse over a bar and double left clicking to display the detail. Out of rangeThis report shows the number of out of range results over the period of time selected. The data behind the chart can be viewed by placing the mouse cursor over the section of interest and double left clicking. |
